Choosing your charity is pretty simple:
Think about what’s important to you...
- Is it animals?
- Your School?
- Your Church?
- The local children’s hospital?
- World hunger?
- Local Park?

Do some research on the internet. Which charities work for the cause you would like to raise money for?

Discuss with your parent or guardian which charity would most benefit from your lemonade stand.

Remember to decorate your booth to reflect your charity.

If you can, after the event, personally deliver the money raised to your charity of choice.
 

PARENTS

Helping your child choose the right charity:
- Discuss the importance of giving back.
- Ask your child what issues are important
 to him/her.
- Help research an appropriate charity for 
 the issue your child cares about.
- Involve your child in the act of sending the 
 money to the charity, either via the internet
 or mail, or in person, so that they are a part
 of the process from beginning to end.
